The default installed printer drivers on my fresh Ubuntu 18.04 installation does not works properly. The printer seems to be installed, but when I do print some page, the message printed page is completed is shown, but no real page is printed. I did reinstall of printer drivers in the following way and the printing works fine after re-installation.

Re-installation steps:

sudo apt-get remove --purge hplip cups

sudo apt-get install hplip cups

sudo -i

hp-setup -i


Please, make right choices for your printer.

Choose Download plugin, install plugin steps.
